It's appalling that idiots can do this 'health' promotion crud. See your doctor, (the one with a Medical Degree!!), get sent to an Endocrinologist and an Ear Nose Throat (ENT) specialist. I'm all for COMPLIMENTING sound scientific medical advice with natural therapies under supervision of all the above Doctors, but you'd be NUTS to do complimentary health without sound advice from a doctor... That's why it's called 'complimentary therapy'. But it DOES NOT replace blood tests, scans, medications and surgery if required. Hormonal imbalance such as hyper/hypothyroidism SUCKS and can take a while to get 'right', if ever, but if untreated, yes it can cause complications that may shorten a lifespan OR as some people here have noted, lumps and bumps can end up as something MUCH nastier.
